TMR901U is a USB Magnetic iButton® Reader for the automatic transfer of  the Registration number/Unique ID Code of iButtons products. Touching the Key automatically downloads the ID into any Office Product on a PC or EPOS System.

DESCRIPTION

The TMR901U facilitates the transfer of the Unique ID Code/Registration number of any Dallas iButton. The particular device has been designed for Dallas Magnetic Keys and the operation is simply touch and the ID code is transferred via the cable into the USB Port of a EPOS Terminal or PC. The matching Magnetic Key’s are our YSL90RMAGxxx where “xxx” is the selectable colour option of the Plastic FOB.

The unit comes with Software and Manual, mounting options including metal bracket and double sided tape.

The unit, whilst similar to the Keyboard Emulator products in our range, offers several functional advantages namely the ability to select a Keyboard language, select a Prefix and Suffix (in addition to the 16 Digit Unique ID), has a Red/Green LED Status and a Audible bleeper.

If the functional need is simply to insert the Unique ID as presented on the iButton into a Microsoft product, the Keyboard Emulators (as shown below) offer a cheaper option plus they have a choice of Reader  head types being Magnetic, Non-Magnetic or Combo.
